Can I customize my MetroListPRO website so that it looks unique?
Yes! You can choose from a wide variety of colors and styles, upload custom images, add your photo and logo to the banner, or add a custom banner. You may also create a custom homepage as well as custom pages within your site. These options, coupled with your personalized content, will make the site distinctly yours.
When will my website be live on the Internet?
It takes just a few clicks to customize and launch your own website. You can have a live website in minutes. If you want to start building your site and come back to finish it later, all your changes will be saved.
Can I preview the website before it goes live?
Click the Preview button at any point and you can see how the site will look. After you publish, you can continue to preview changes you make before they are live on your site.
What will be the domain name (URL) for my website?
MetroListPRO websites are all hosted under the metrolistpro.com domain. You choose the subdomain used for your site. For example, your site could be SusanPowell.metrolistpro.com or SacramentoHomes.metrolistpro.com. If you already have a registered domain name, you can direct that URL to point to your MetroListPRO site.
I’m not interested in showing Open Homes. Can I turn that feature off?
Yes. Open Homes as well as other pages and features of your website can be disabled easily. You can also rename the menu options and rearrange the links that are displayed on the top toolbar.
Can I customize my search page to focus on my market area?
Yes. By default, every city covered by MetroListPRO will be included in the city list on your search page. Since we understand that some people like to focus in specific areas, we’ve made it easy for you to customize the city list so it only includes the areas that you primarily serve. This customization can be done from your account Control Panel.
Can I create Top Picks pages for specific neighborhoods or listing types, like foreclosures?
Yes. The Top Picks page feature provides a way for you to showcase any listings you like on a single page. You can create a saved search to populate a Top Picks page or select listings by MLS number.
Will MetroListPRO websites work with a mobile device?
The Advanced Agent Website, Premium Agent Website, Agent Team Website, and Office Website packages include a full mobile MLS/IDX site that will work on any browser-enabled mobile device. Your MetroListPRO site will automatically send mobile devices to your mobile IDX site.
Is this service reliable?
Yes. Your website will be hosted at a highly reliable, secure data center provided by Rackspace. As a top-tier, national hosting service, Rackspace provides 99.999% availability and high-speed connections to the Internet.
What kind of support is available?
Your Control Panel includes online help and user documentation to help you get the most out of your website product. If you have specific questions or problems, just give the MetroList Help Desk a call at (916) 922-7584 or outside the 916 area code dial (888) 898-9788 and select option 1.
How does billing work?
Once you choose a package and submit your credit card information, your account will be created. Your first charge will take place on the 1st of the month following your purchase for that month’s service. You will continue to be billed on the 1st of each month for services to be provided during that month.
Is there a contract to sign? How long is the commitment?
You will need to agree to the terms of the MetroList Service & Billing Agreement. There is no long-term commitment. Your account is billed month-to-month. If you wish to cancel your account, or upgrade or downgrade your package, you can do so at any time.
I just signed up and I see a pending authorization for $1.00 when I view my credit card activity online. What is this authorization for?
This is a temporary authorization used to ensure that your credit card information is accurate. For most cards, the authorization will expire within 72 hours (some cards may take longer). While present in your account, this temporary authorization will be deducted from your available credit, but will not be reflected in your balance due nor on your monthly statement.
